I could see these being slightly more palatable if they didn’t need three AAA batteries apiece. Both the Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Color each only needed two, and they’re nearly 30 years old.

By theconstellationiris

I'm so burned out by these things.
It was fun in the beginning, before these companies started to flood the market, with endless re-releases of the same titles, in different forms.
I love Space Invaders, but enough already.
Wonder how long they can keep milking this, before the cow is dead. 🤣

By Exerion76

I got the Space Invaders one and was very disappointed. The sound isn't just off, it's completely wrong. It seems they are using very cheap hardware and just putting Atari or NES versions of the games on.

By kirby2000

My aging retro gamer vision would struggle to see the screen. I need my reading glasses for the Super Pocket as it is, though overall I like those units as they are robust and take carts. These seem more like novelty items, not for me.

I'll admit I'm thankful SOMEONE is making handheld electronic games - I miss the old Blackjack, Yahtzee, and other LCD game devices that were available in the puzzle/cards section of department stores, and this at least feels like a return to form.

By NewBond
